TLR 10/16/11

Hello, Hofstra Sports fans! The Hofstra fall teams head down the stretch of their seasons.  This week on The Locker Room, hosts Anthony Barra and John Iadevaia will take a look at the weekend of Hofstra Pride sports. 

We’ll start off on the Field Hockey field where Kathy DeAngelis’ squad had another match-up against a ranked opponent.  This time it was the number 14 Maine Black Bears.  Could the Pride continue their hot play?  We’ll let you know.

After that Amy Lee Levey of the Hofstra Pride Field Hockey Team will join us to talk about her squad’s success on the field this season. 

Next, we’ll head out to the pitch where the Hofstra Men’s Soccer team had two tough CAA match-ups against Northeastern and Delaware.  The Pride needed wins this weekend to stay on pace in the CAA standings.  We’ll let you know how the Pride fared.

Then we’ll head over to the women’s side of things.  Hofstra’s Women’s Soccer team had two home games to finish off their CAA home slate.  Two tough tests against William and Mary and Old Dominion.  We’ll have the highlights and breakdowns of both games for you.
