Hello, Hofstra Sports fans! The Hofstra fall teams have opened up CAA play. This week on The Locker Room, hosts Kevin Dexter and Sam Little will take a look at the weekend of Hofstra Pride sports.
We’ll start off on the soccer field with the Men’s Soccer squad who had match-ups with Towson and VCU. The Pride beat the Rams during their magical run to the CAA Tournament last year. We’ll let you know if they could do it again.
After that Head Coach of the Hofstra Pride Men’s Soccer team Richard Nuttall will join us on the line to talk about his squad’s start to the season and what they need to do to make a push for the CAA playoffs.
Then we’ll interview Jason Sinkoff from the Hofstra Men’s tennis team about the 10th anniversary of the CAA Blood Challenge. He’ll let us know about the challenge when it will be and how fans can get involved in helping the community.
Then we’ll head out to the Field Hockey stadium to talk about Kathy DeAngelis’ squad. Two more CAA match-ups were on the slate this weekend. We’ll let you know how they fared.
Finally, it’s off to women’s Women’s soccer team. After a tough loss to Delaware last weekend we’ll let you know if the Pride were able to rebound this week.
All that plus the staples W-R-H-U sports breaks, Beyond the Pride, and the Locker Room Player of the Week.
