The Locker Room 1/1

Happy New Years Hofstra fans!  Anthony Barra and Tom Verde will bring you the first Locker Room show of 2012 tonight, as they recap the week that was and preview the week to come in Hofstra Athletics.


First, we’ll examine the Hofstra Pride Men’s Basketball team’s big metro area showdown with Iona.  Were Coach Cassara and crew able to shock the Gaels?  Or will they head into CAA play with another loss under their belt?  We’ll break it all down.


Then, Hofstra point guard Dwan McMillan will join us to discuss the state of the Pride and preview Monday’s  home contest against 2011 National Semi Finalist VCU.


The Women’s squad was also in action this past week, as they welcomed in another tough mid-major opponent, The Princeton Tigers.  What would Shante Evans and company do in their final non conference game of the season?  We’ll let you know.


Finally, we’ll check in on the Pride Grapplers down at the Southern Scuffle and pay a visit back to the best plays of the month of December.
